Turnip microgreens are the turnip plant in phase II of its life cycle. At this stage they contain up to 40 times the nutrients and minerals than a mature head of broccoli. Adding turnip microgreens to your meals gives you the same benefits in a much smaller, nutrient dense and easier-to-use package.
Turnip microgreens have distinctive green leaves with radiant white stems. Their flavor is delicate, sweet, and similar to Cabbage. The irrefutable levels of dietary benefit in turnip microgreens can fortify one's wellbeing and help in warding off ailment. Like other cruciferous vegetables, they're low in calories yet pack a ton of supplements and minerals like folate, vitamin K, and provitamin A.

A simple microgreen with vibrant green cotyledons and a dazzling white stem.
Mild, crunchy, dense with a hint of bitterness; like a more flavorful full-sized turnip.
While their nutrient contents vary slightly, most varieties tend to be rich in potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium, and copper. Microgreens are also a great source of beneficial plant compounds like antioxidants. What’s more, their nutrient content is concentrated, which means that they often contain higher vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant levels than the same quantity of mature greens.
When you're looking to amp up your nutritional daily intake, turnip microgreens work well with most meals. Here are some of our favorite uses:
Breakfast - Add them to your morning smoothies or stuff them into your favorite omelet or breakfast burrito.
Lunch - Use them as a replacement for lettuce on virtually any sandwich or wrap. Fold them into soups or deli salads.
Dinner - Top green salads with them or onto a baked potato with a little cheddar cheese.
