Description
Pea Shoots microgreens are baby leafy greens. They are immature green pea plants in phase II of its life cycle. Harvested at 12 days after germination, pea shoots microgreens have all the nutrients needed to grow to maturation locked in. Adding microgreens to your meals gives you the same benefits as the mature veggie in a much smaller, nutrient-dense, and easier-to-use package. All microgreens are positively packed with vitamins, and pea shoots are no exception. Their nutrition values include beta-carotene – which our bodies convert into vitamin A, vitamin C, folate–which is an essential building block for the human body, and fiber.

Deli container - The weight of the green pea microgreens averages 40 grams per container. Fresh microgreens are packaged in sustainable, commercial compostable, clear deli containers. **LOCAL DELIVERIES ONLY**
1020 trays - Fresh microgreens are harvested from a 1020 grow tray and packaged in a 2 quart square reusable container. **LOCAL DELIVERIES ONLY**

Appearance
A long, thin, bright green microgreen. The shoot features a hearty stem, small leaves and wispy, edible tendrils.

Health Benefits
Microgreens are packed with nutrients. Pea shoots are no exception with their rich concentration of protein and dietary fiber, vitamins C, E, A, and B5 and zinc, potassium, phosphorous, and beta-carotene. The health benefits attributed to consuming pea shoots include lowered risk of several chronic diseases and eye diseases. Microgreens are also a great source of beneficial plant compounds like antioxidants. What’s more, their nutrient content is concentrated, which means that they often contain higher vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant levels than the same quantity of mature greens.

Grown on an indoor, climate-controlled, vertical farm in Cape Coral, FL. Living Greens Urban Farm uses only organic seeds, OMRI-certified coco coir, and never any pesticides or chemicals.
We grow to order; we require a two-week lead time on fresh microgreens orders.
Care & Storage
Cold water rinse before use, only what you're using. Microgreens need to remain dry to stay fresh longer. They will last up to 14 days in the refrigerator in an air-tight container kept dry.
**Regarding local delivery policy
These farm fresh microgreens are meant to be consumed soon after harvest. To ensure the absolute best freshness, we only offer our live microgreens to local customers within a 20-mile radius. (Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and surrounding areas).
Please note, if live microgreens are added to the cart, and a local delivery method is not available, the order will be canceled.
